Hey All disappointed Midwest fans that traveled to the Columbus show. (I originally posted the first rescheduled date under my 'brianasburymusic' account)

Well here's some news for you all. I just got off the phone with a Promowest Productions representative asking about the show since there had been no news. According to her they are currently waiting for management to decide a date.

When I asked her if she thought the reschedule would be on this leg of the tour or in a year or so from now. she said that the date will be 'soon' as in possibly sometime during the final CONFIRMED US dates this May, not canceled, or a year from now like we've all been thinking.

Anyways. Something to keep the mood light. Call if you want to confirm it for yourself.

really though, this has just been such a kick in the balls to their very OWN fans....it's a damn shame, cause they're some extremely talented dudes and i was listening to TBiG religiously since it came out, but no chance in hell i'm ever going to support the band after what they pulled on us. i saw them once in 03 in pittsburgh and it was a great show, but it's not worth the time and effort. hell, the only way i'd feel comfortable going to the show is if i had a fucking written guarantee from cedric, and even then, who knows? they did it TWICE, nonetheless...why wouldn't they do it again? being sick is one thing...screwing around your fans who SUPPORT you and buy your cds and shirts and concert tickets? that's just completely weak of em.

of course, im sure they really don't care what bunch of their FANS think, which is really a damn shame :-/

If I drove from out of town, even two hours away, I would be pissed and probably not even waste my time going to a rescheduled show. If and when they do reschedule, if they don't play an extended setlist in Columbus I will be very pissed and will never waste my money on them again. That is that.

But let's hope the management team hurries the hell up and reschedules for two weeks from now in the midst of May. That would be fan-fucking-tastic.

Dude, I drove to Columbus from East Tennessee. Twice.

The crazy thing is that I will gladly go again.

My rationale is that if I don't now, what if I never get to see them? I live in a region where they never tour--even hitting Atlanta is a rarity. Plus, given the unpredictable natures of Omar and Cedric, they could break up the band at any time. I keep that in mind. I never want to regret missing a chance to see them at least once.

Yeah, I got that same e-mail yesterday, but people were saying that they received that e-mail a long time ago right when it was cancelled for the second time. It is good to see that they are planning a reschedule date, but if it's going to be in May they need to announce that shit PRONTO!
